Wyoming Shiras Moose Hunts in Unit 1

If you are lucky enough to draw a tag in Unit 1, I would love to take you moose hunting. I spend a lot of time in the summer on the mountain looking for trophy shiras bulls. The best time to hunt them is late September to early October, when they are rutting. We spend a lot of time covering the country, looking for bulls and big tracks if we are lucky enough to have snow. Beaver Trap Outfitters has harvested some of the biggest bulls to come out of Unit 1 in the past and in recent years. You will need 24 plus preference points to draw this tag in 2024.
